The Maui Puerto Rican Association (as one of the 2024 honorees) participated in the New York Puerto Rican Day Parade on June 9, 2024. A huge wave of Puertorriqueños filled the streets of downtown New York. The MPRA members who attended shared that it was an unparalleled experience.
The Maui Puerto Rican Association sold Pastele Plates at the Makawao Night Market on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 4-8pm at the Oskie Rice Arena. FREE event admission and $5 cash parking. Fun for the entire 'ohana!
- MAKAWAO STAMPEDE CONCERT & BULL BASH - Friday, July 5, 2024: MPRA was a vendor at this event selling its Pastele Plates from 6 to 10 pm
- PRE-SHOW AND RODEO - Saturday, July 6 and Sunday July 7, 2024: MPRA was a vendor selling its Pastele Plates, on both days from 10 am to 6 pm.

This vibrant event featured a live auctioneer and a lineup of fantastic prizes including inter-island round trips, Puerto Rican novelty items and some of the most incredible baked goods you can imagine. All proceeds went directly to our scholarship fund, helping our youth pursue their educational dreams.
